Warsaw Academy is open to the needs and all initiatives of students. Students have the opportunity to develop their interests. One of such interest cycles is Student’s Scientific Club YOUNG DIPLOMATS. The main issues of discussion in this organization are: diplomatic protocol, the law of international organizations, consumer law, debates about institutions, organizations, politicians and arts, with the focus on cultural diversity problems. You can also develop your skills acting in the club COMPUTER SCIENCE. The purpose of its activity is to raise qualifications and knowledge from the area of programming of applications and Internet technologies, promoting scientific interests among students and developing students’ abilities to conduct research works in the area of computer science. At the University there is also another scientific club TELEKOM. Its purpose is to deepen the knowledge and skills from the area of the latest achievements in telecommunications, as well as meeting of the rules of designing telecommunications systems. There is also the Club MANAGER which concentrates its activity among the subject matter of the modern personal practices in the company and solving crisis in the enterprise. At the University there is also Student Council. The representatives of the student community are significantly involved in the Warsaw Academy’s activities. Delegates of the Student Council could express their opinions at the sessions of Faculty Councils, at the meetings with the authorities of the University, as well as during informal talks with academic teachers. The Student Council of Warsaw Academy prepares also numerous integration events for students: Freshman Party, Winter Prom Party and St. Andrew’s Day. |
